Need financial assistance

As most of you know, I am busy for several weeks now preparing for our Anniversary treat this coming February. I've been checking the web for possible travel destinations and I am happy to say, we've finally decided to visit Hongkong and Macau this year. Travel is indeed one of life's luxuries we always look forward yearly. We save certain percentage of our income for relaxation and pampering such as this. We consider travel as our reward and gift to ourselves from all the hardwork we did the previous year.

Hence this year, we've decided to travel together with the entire family. Aside from bringing our kids, my brother in law and his wife, also signified interest to join us. Thus, our current travel budget for two no longer enough to accomodate all of us for our airfare and accomodation expenses. Been trying to find some ways to extend our budget, and looking at Macau's hotel rates now, I think we really need to seek financial assistance.

Luckily, I came across cash advance and payday loan sites on the web. Perfect timing since I am in need of additional funds to finance our travel this coming February. The offer is really good for cash-strapped people like me. Applying for online loan is fast and very easy. In fact in some cases, the borrower need not to fax any document to be approved. As soon as your loan application approved, your cash advance payday loans will be electornically transferred to your personal checking or savings account. Really helfpul, huh?

Moreover, the cash advance payday loan site offers an array of loan selection to cater your needs. You may opt to avail the additional earnings loan to supplement your monthly income, or maximum wages cash advance if you need large amount of money up to maximum of $1500. Or if you prefer confidential loan, you may opt to avail the silent cash loan that assures borrower discreet processing of their loan. For quick, small and immediate cash needs such as grocery money or medical/emergency needs, urgent cash relief loan may also be availed. Whereas for my vacation travel needs, the women’s payday loan is very ideal to secure my immediate fund requirement. With these loan options, I can get the financial aid anytime I need it. Now I am financially covered for our upcoming travel. I can enjoy travel and shopping through these financial assistance worry-free. Can’t wait to avail one for the trip.

Birthday gift choices for hubby

My ever-patient, loving, generous and sweet hubby (Mike) is turning 33 this coming Monday, February 4.

Until now, I haven't decided yet what to give him as birthday present. For weeks now, I've been toying with the idea of buying him a new mobile phone. An Apple iPhone to replace his old Nokia communicator. You see, he carries two Nokia communicator phones everyday. One for his personal and the other unit, for business use. Lately, I want him to change his original and jurassic version, N9300. Aside from its bulky size, the outside cover looks old and battered. Kinda embarassing if he use it during business meetings... though according to hubby, this is his lucky phone since most of his business transactions were consumated here!

Anyway, any feedback on iPhone? How about compatibility with our current GSM network? Any idea how much an iPhone costs in Greenhills? I have a reliable company vendor that sells iPhone at P23K, is this acceptable?

My second option is to treat my honey on our upcoming vacation/anniversary at HK/Macau. Treat as in hotel accomodation and airfare ako taya!?! Waahhh... though I don't mind giving this as a gift. Mas tipid ito, but want to give him something tangible sana! Hahaha! Bahala na...But looking forward to our Macau anniversary destination. Can't wait to check out these great Macau spots...

Goodness...February is my most expensive month of the year. Hubby's birthday, Valentine's Day and Anniversary. Need all possible moolah-resources for this month. And I seriously hope my blogging raket can help me. lol! :)

Play slots with sloterix

The only game I play inside the casino is the slot machine. It’s just that I am not a good card player and I believe my luck rests on slot machines than on card tables. Purely this is a game of chance. I remember when I was in Vegas, I won few hundred of dollars at Paris casino. Perhaps call it beginners luck since it was my first time in Vegas. But lady luck was really on my side during my next trip when I tried to play slots at Ceasar’s Atlanta. I won few bucks again which kept me playing for another 20 minutes of slot machine play.

With this lucky experience, I was hooked on slot machine whenever I had the chance to play here in Manila. Sometimes, I even play slots sloterix online jut to test my luck at slot machines. With casino slots sloterix , option for online slot machine games almost endless. The site provides list and reviews of top casino online sloterix, easy and user-friendly site design. good customer service and technical support to help deliver truly casino slot machines feel.

enjoying online backgammon

Playing backgammon board game is one of my favorite pastime when I was young. I can still remember how my cousins and I spent our Saturday afternoons just playing board games in our backyard. I can still vividly recall how I attempted to beat my cousins in a game of backgammon but still end up losing. Well, probably they win the game since they are much older and more experienced in this game than me.

Still thinking how I can improve my backgammon game skills, I came across online backgammon from the web. A very helpful online web-based site that provides fun (and for money) game that you can enjoy as a pastime. The site not only provides the latest information on backgammon tournaments and events but it also provides helpful tips and strategies how to win the game. Really great, huh! Lately I’ve been playing backgammon online by taking advantage of the free play from their site. I guess with a lot of practice this time, I can give my cousins a run for their money next time they ask for a game of backgammon.

NWA WorldPerks Card Holders

For NWA WorldPerks cardholders, I just called this morning to claim my miles for free travel and I've got disappointing news.

Due to the FAA standard downgrade the Philippines received last Jan 25, Cebu Pacific no longer part of the NW SkyTeam. Meaning, NW can no longer use Cebu Pacific (partnership) for connecting flights to Asian countries.

Because of this, all NW flights will fly directly to Japan for stop-overs before proceeding to any desired Asian destination. Example, if you book flights for Bangkok via NW, immediate stop-over will be at Narita Airport. From Japan you will be brought to Bangkok by NW partner airline, JAL.

So that will be 4 hours travel time to Japan, then 5-6 hours waiting time at Narita airport for your connecting flight to Bangkok and another 2 hours travel from Japan to Bangkok. For return flights Bangkok to Manila , same arrangements too. Grabe..tagal di ba?! Kainis.

Should you wish to avail the flight plan above, you can claim your reward at 20K miles for Asian countries plus payment of US$60 for taxes/insurances (varies dpeending on the desired asian destination) and $15 for ticketing. So total payment $75 only.

Hmmmm... not sure if I still want to avail my NW worldperks miles this time. But I think this is very ideal if you plan to travel to Japan only. Oh yes...why not consider Japan for travel?! Hahaha..need to do some serious talk with hubby tonight. :) Haayyy...sayang ang miles.

playing billiards online

My husband is a billiard fanatic. Aside from playing billiards online, he can’t get enough of the billiard game that he even watches billiard tournaments nightly at ESPN. As a matter of fact, in our previous house, we have a billiard table wherein he invites his friends and relatives for weekend tournaments for fun and money-game.

But lately, with the amount of workload he has now, he can no longer play weekend tournaments nor watch billiard games on television. To keep him updated, he frequently visits billiard online site to keep him abreast with the latest news and tournament info around the world. As a pastime, he even enjoys playing the game and occasionally plays online snooker and online pool to enhance his billiards skills. Good thing there is an available site for billiard fanatics like my husband. Otherwise, I don’t know what will keep him sane every Saturday billiard tournament nights.

Blogging 101_ update 2

Blogging 101 update ...

1. Page Layout
For some unknown reason, my blog page seemed ok now. I was panicky last Wednesday when I lost my original page lay out. Imagine, finding my widgets/page elements at the bottom of my page..huh, really unexplainable! Yes I admit I did some tweaking on lay outs, and should have known better...not to play around with my templates since I am no-pro at this area. Hehehe! Lesson learned.

2. Changed my page look
If you noticed, I've changed my Christmas-y colors from red and green to pink and purple fonts. Though I wanted a different variation of pink but with no luck, I can't find the right shade of pink...that is, bubble gum pink! Oh well, for the meantime will settle on these colors.

3. On paid blogging
Yes, I officially started putting paid ads/entries last Thursday. I think I've already posted 4 blog ads since then. All pending for approvals and with 3 projects awaiting for my completion. Not that big moolah ... but it did provide me a lot of practice.

I can't believe I'll enjoy doing paid blogging. Should have started months ago pala. Hahaha! Paid blogging reminds me of my highschool days doing book reviews. You just need to read a little and summarize the novel for your book report. Oh to be honest, since I am lazy to read novels back then ... I just read my classmate's book report and submit summarized report of her work! Really bad. And I was able to get away with it! Hahaha!

My mom, who has been wearing eyeglasses for the past decade would always ask me to get her new pair of eyeglasses as a birthday or Christmas gift every year. Well aside from the fact that she needs to upgrade the lens, she somehow constantly losing her eyeglasses somewhere. ecommerce software

Online shopping is one of the great advantages brought by the internet. Being connected to buyers and suppliers is a must and a convenient, practical way of running the business these days. Thanks to shopping cart available in the web market today, transacting business for sellers like me is a great answer to all my needs. The site provides complete software solution to set up an online store. A very powerful tool that extends my reach to all the consumers on the web. With a very minimal monthly fee, Ashop e-commerce software can provide customized web design for my business. It can securely host my online transactions, accept credit cards payments and provides a full technical support and customer service to help me run my online business. More importantly, giving me much exposure by providing best possible leverage to put my business on top of the shopping cart search engines. Simply great for a novice seller like me! Now the next question is all up to me…am I ready to plunge the global market? Soon, I will.

What Jacqui Means ...

I saw this last week from Apols blog, and I immediately liked it.
Since I had blogging lay out problems last week, I've decided to do this tag as soon as my problem solved.
Anyway, it's really kaka-aliw, truly appropriate...and very Me!
Try it...you will be amazed.

What Jacqui Means

You are fair, honest, and logical. You are a natural leader, and people respect you.You never give up, and you will succeed... even if it takes you a hundred tries. You are rational enough to see every part of a problem. You are great at giving other people advice.
You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality.
You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily. You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind.A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable.
People see you as a complete enigma, and only you truly understand who you are.You spend most of your time introspecting and seeking truth. You're a very interesting person... but not many people know you enough to realize it. You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way.And because you're so lucky, you don't really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life. You're sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

online gaming

Lately, the husband is very much interested on online gaming particularly the poker game. It has been his favorite pastime for weeks now, and he wanted me to learn and experience the thrill of the game as well. Since there are a lot of available online gaming on the web, I did some web research for the best online casino to be sure of its credibility and accuracy of sites.

Luckily I found Pro360, an online casinothat provides detailed reviews for players like me. The site is very helpful since it provides information such as bonuses, player’s ratings and experiences as well as trust scores offered by each casino. Truly a delightful site by simplifying and detailing choices and game preference available for players thus making the game experience more fun with less fuss. Do check out this site, believe me… you will enjoy online poker as much as I did.

Experimenting with my blog again...

Yes, I did some experimenting with my blog again ... this time I played with my blog colors.

The holiday season is over thus, red and green colors are out! :)

So, I've decided to change my fonts to pink and purple .. and I don't think I like it. Hahaha! I can't seem to find nice shade of pink..so frustrating!

Still playing with colors... so you might see some changes on the next few days. So, please bear with my indecisiveness and creativty (or lack of)! lol.

By the way, surprsingly my page layout seemed to be back to its normal look. The page elements can be found on the right portion of my blog page again. But, there's a missing element and I can't figure how to add it back. I want the "recent blog comments" page to show. Tried checking the edit page element..but can't find it. So, again...any tips please :)

Few days late for Kinder

Went few weeks ago to check out Pedro Poveda school and to inquire possibility of Sammie entering Kinder 1 level.
I was given admission policy procedures and was surprised that she is NOT yet eligible for Kinder. Apparently, their cut off for Kinder 1 admission, kids born between November 1, 2003 up to October 31, 2004.
Sadly, my Sam was born few days late of their cut off ...she was born November 4, 2004. Just four (4) days after. Tried asking for reconsideration but they are very, very strict with the admission age. Hence, I was told to apply her for their toddler school or nursery level instead. Poveda opened few slots for nursery class...25 kids will be admitted out of 100+ applicants. Grabe, tight competition noh?!
Now I am thinking if I will pursue her nursery application or wait for next year. Not sure also if she's ready for the big school already. Hmmm...still undecided.

On cash advance loans

Home improvement is one of the expenses we are thinking as our project for 2008. For this year, I am targeting our garden lanai for re-decorating. We moved in last year without plans of beautifying the lanai. But lately, I saw the need to create a homey and child-friendly lanai garden for my daughter’s play area. With the construction of all bamboo perimeter wall, small koi pond and built-in waterfalls….the project will surely entails a huge dent in our budget.

And what may be the best option to immediately fund this project, of course through securing an immediate cash advance loan. The
payday loans are very helpful especially for working moms like me who can’t wait to for the next available cash to start my project. It is fast, convenient and safe unsecured loans that can easily be obtain through the internet and can immediately fund either my personal or savings account in a flash. It is also amazing that the site offers differenty type of loans depending the needs of the borrower. With a guarantee of immediate approval and low interest rates , who wouldn’t want an additional $1500 to fund my garden lanai project.

This would be a great treat for the little girl... and I can’t wait to start my big project for the year.

on being a novice seller

Ever wondered how on-line shopping works? Being a shopaholic like me, it fascinates me how easy and convenient to do transactions over the internet. Shopping is very easy and convenient with simple click of buttons, goods and services already available in front of you.

What is truly amazing is the extensive market reach for sellers to promote their products. Aside from publishing it in the web, a powerful tool that makes sellers life easy is through the use of shopping cart software. Imagine being a novice seller in the industry and having your own online e-commerce page to compete with the industry giants …that is truly being competitive! For a very minimal monthly fee, seller can have its own online store access complete with customized design of the business, content updates and real time credit card acceptance. More importantly, this shopping cart software provides assistance and updates that a seller might need to start e-commerce business. Joined the hungry wolves pack ...

I am happy to announce that I already joined the hungry wolves pack.

I got my first approval today from Smorty and was able to successfully post one paid advertisment. Hehehe! One small step for the blog-pros but one huge step for me!!! So excited and so happy. Awaiting post approval from Smorty now.

Actually, I almost didn't make the submit post portion...but Peachy was so kind and helpful to assist submitting my post to Smorty. Bwahaha! So credit goes to my shopping and blogging guru, Peachy! Yayaman ka peachy with blogging...promise! your blog opps will return thousand folds! :)

So this is it... wish me luck...and let the paid opps roll! :)

Happily Joined Smorty

I've always been fascinated how paid blogging actually works. I am one of those who is so curious why my friends are so hooked on blogging as well as busy doing some blog advertising at their own blog. First step was to read and learn more about the blogging world and sign up with a good paid blogging site like Smorty.

From my readings, I learned that Smorty is a very dynamic tool that connects advertisers to bloggers like me. It is an avenue for advertisers to reach thousands of bloggers to advertise or post their opinions on different products, services or websites while linking back to advertisers site. On the other hand, bloggers get paid by simply doing blog advertising. Isn't that great?! Getting paid while blogging.

Thus with this good webfinds, it's easy to share this with my fellow blogging moms who might be interested to find new great products from the web. And at the same time, do something they love...blogging! With less effort and blogging at your own time, you get paid while doing some reviews and providing product, service and website insights. Ain't that cool? You learn and you get paid! Truly great benefits done by Smorty...a different medium for advertising on the web, blog advertising.

With this great news ... I am happy that I joined Smorty too!

Blog Lay Out Problems ...

Darn!! Should have known better.

I am no expert in the blogging world and shouldn't have touched or experimented on anything! Hahaha.

See the blog results ... really bad!

1. I lost my beautiful header design (lovingly created by Joy)
2. All my page elements now found on the bottom page of my blog -- I can't understand this! The page elements correctly positioned at the right side portion when you click template edit BUT, when you view the blog...it's located on the bottom part. Darn! Despite dragging and clicking each element..still it won't work!
3. I lost some of my widgets like my links to mommy bloggers and blog comments.
4. Ald lastly, my blog now looks ...cold and boring! Hahaha!

So my dear bloggers, please help me...please share helpful blogging lay out tips how I can retain or revert to my old blog look. I miss my old blog... Haaayyy!! :(

Travel plans for Macau and HK

I am so excited ... this is our first travel for 2008. What makes it more exciting, this is my first time to prepare travel itinerary without an agent.

And I am beginning to like it..hmmm..makes me want to set up my own travel agency when I retire from BayanTel. So that will be xx number of years to go pa....Bwahahaha!

Anyway, to celebrate our 4th year Anniversary, we are planning to leave for Macau and HongKong on February 21-24. Wohoooho! HK again for me! My favorite place... and Macau new place to explore..yey!

I already booked at Cebu Pacific last night and I was surprised how affordable their plane fare compared to PAL. Just to share, I booked for 4 pax Manila-HK at P3,240 each , and our trip Macau to Manila at P2,729 each. That is a total of P5,969 per pax (excludes Philippine travel tax P1,620) Galing di ba! Note, di pa promo yan ha! :)

For hotel accomodations, still surfing the net for affordable rates at HK and Macau. Sadly, we won't be staying at Disney hotel this time... we can't maximize the two-day pass since we need to leave (via ferry) for Macau on our 3rd day. Moreover, our itinerary is so full...haayy..napapagod na din ako isipin itinerary namin. So really..no shopping this time! Really! Hahaha!

Oh, I am so excited..can you tell? lol. I am excited and very eager to see Macau! It will be our first to ride the ferry too!

Its gonna be fun, fun this time with the little girl. And I bet it will be very cold on these dates. Need to bring lots of jackets and warm clothes for Samantha.

I can't wait... 31 days to go!!

Meet my new babies ...

Sorry but I really have to post this great news...Ngayon pa lang kasi Christmas ko eh! Please bear with me.

Since most of you were involved on my LV dilemma one way or another, I am happy to share... finally, my LV bags already here. As in here in Manila and inside ou bedroom! Woohoohooo!

I can't believe it.. the husband is so so thoughtful to bring home everything...as in everything! He brought home the LV boxes, ribbons, cloth bags and even LV paper bags! Hahaha! He was so concerned that I might not be able to sell it if the packaging isn't complete. And surprsingly, he was able to fit all of these inside his luggage. Of course, flattened and folded neatly. Grabe, maasahan ka talaga, hubby! :)

LV packaging...boxes and paper bags

Hopefully, this is my last post re: LV bags....eerrrr for the meantime. Hahaha!

On Paid Blogging Business

I am tempted to join the blogging business ...

For the past nights..while hubby was away, I was glued on my computer waiting for him to be online. While waiting, I started browsing some of paid blog posts. I actually started reading some of the posts and enjoyed reading most of them. Very informative. And looking at it seemed so easy to do. Well, I think I can write few words or paragraphs on any topic under the sun. Also, I think I have few hours to spare every night to do some posts. Hmmmm...

Then, it suddenly hit me ... I think I am ready to join the hungry wolves bandwagon (as jen aptly termed it!)

But first, I need to learn some blogging basics.

1. Start my papypal account. Philippine-based much better. -- meron na ba?
2. Increase my page rank. How kaya...any tips?
3. Enlist on some paid blog advertisments.
4. Start blogging.

Hmmmm.. sounds very easy noh! Not sure if correct ito blogging basics ko.

I really need help from the blogging gurus like : Aggie, Jane, Joy and Peachy...and most of you pala na into paid blogging. Hahaha! Ako na lang yata naiwan sa "raket" na ito....

Here's another to do list for my 2008 Projects ... Wish me luck girls! :)

I am gonna keep my babies ...

Gucci bags ... NO MORE.

I've finally made up my mind. Yes, finally I have decided.

After my super quick detour at Gucci Greenbelt earlier, and checked the bag options I posted yesterday...the Gucci bags not that appealing anymore. Website pictures really looked great. BUT, once you've tried them on hmmm... something's "bitin" or not right.

The "jolicoaur" (with red and green stripe) I wanted was quite big...and the smaller size, too small for me! The shoulder strap somehow "bitin" for my arms. On the other hand, "princy" large shoulder strap just perfect, the length of the bag too long naman for me. Tried on the "princy" small, but it lacks enough space for my things. I tried looking other Gucci bag options but most of them, beyond my budget already.

Hence, I've decided .... I AM GONNA KEEP MY BABIES! ----that's my LV Neverfull MM and Speedy 30 Damier.

I called my husband immediately to beat the 24-hour decision window. I told him NOT to buy the bags anymore. He was glad I've decided not to get it. According to him, its not that nice anyway! Hahaha...trying to make me feel better pa.

Well, there's always next time...in HK perhaps. Hahaha!

So..I am sorry my dear blogmates. Ginulo ko pa kayo with my post... ako din, nagulo eh! Hahaha! :)

Thank you for reading all my bag "indecisiveness" .

ps: excerpt from husband's last call at 530 pm.

mike: So, I wont get the bag na ha..final na yan. This is my last night here.
jacqui: Yes honey. I am happy with the LVs. Thank you.
mike: Ok. So what will I buy pa for you? Anything you like?
jacqui: (hmmmm..napa-isip bigla.. wallet na lang kaya?!) No na honey, I am ok. Buy something for yourself.
mike: No na.. I am ok. I don't like to shop here.
jacqui: oh, dont forget to get me the hawaiian host macademia nuts. And lots of Meiji chocolate from Japan.
mike: surely!
Hahaha.. bait ng asawa ko noh?! Sarap magpa-bili lagi sa kanya when he travels. One of my thousand reasons why I really, really love him so much... Can't wait to see him home!

Gucci bag dilemma ... and on being indecisive!

Two days ago, I was so so so happy (well, until now) that the husband got the bags I wanted at a LV Store in Hawaii. The bags I've been looking (and eyeing) for several months from different shopping sources ie: online shopping, e-luxury, LV HK and SNG already found and bought by my sweet husband.

Then I received an unexpected call from my husband this afternoon ... He asked me if I still want the Gucci bags on my list. (Remember I gave him bag options list before he left! I swear..madami options yun!lol.) He went to Gucci store and found out that the bags I want also available. He asked me if I still want a Gucci bag...and if I still want it, let him know before he leaves on Thursday. BUT..He will reimburse this Gucci bag daw sa akin!

Now I am in dilemma ... I want the Gucci bag too! But, I have two LVs na. Sobrang "abuso" and "kahiya" if I ask the husband to buy it for me. And most importantly, I don't want to pay for another bag! Hahaha!

I might be getting this GUCCI "jolicoeur" -- medium tote with red and green stripe
OR this GUCCI "princy" : medium tote with tab snap. Pardon the picture but the one hubby will get yun ALL BROWN-COLORED HANDLES AND EDGES..just can't find online bag pix in brown. Kainis! Mahirap din hanapin ito eh :(

Hence, I am thinking of selling the LV Neverfull MM bag na lang ...YES, I AM SELLING THE NEVERFULL MM so I can get my Gucci bag! Very indecisive noh! BUT, Before I say yes to my dear husband, need to know....
Anyone interested on this LV bag? I am selling it P30K .. pag mommy bloggers may discount pa! Bag will arrive on Friday am. :)

My Name ... long story

Abie and Kelly gave me this tag ... and I am not sure if I should admit the truth. Or which name should I use ... So, please...bear with me for my long kwento. Hahaha!

You see, I've got "legal" problems on my name. Currently, I am still in the process of changing my name in all my official and government records. I already filed petition for change name last year to legalized everything but until now, the court proceedings not yet over. I still have to complete my court appearance this coming March 2008.

My real name are as follows: (please don't laugh ha!)

birth certificate : ARMINDA
baptismal certificate: JACQUELINE
school records: ARMIDA JACQUELINE

Well, my Mom told me that she was sleeping when the hospital nurse asked my Dad what name to be placed on the birth certificate. My Dad told the nurse to write ARMIDA because that's what my Mom wanted daw. Then before baptism, my Dad decided to change to JACQUELINE kasi..nice daw! So they used JACQUELINE on my baptismal records. However, when they enrolled me to nursery school (Montessori) the admin decided to combine the two records...

Thus, for how many decades I've been using ARMIDA JACQUELINE on all my school and work records. Together with my birth certificate, I always submit a joint-affidavit for my name. And this was offically honored/acknowledged naman. So all my company id, driver's license, SSS, pag-ibig, bank records, credit cards etc... bears the name ARMIDA JACQUELINE .. all except, Passport! Whenever I travel I always use my offcial NSO registered name, ARMINDA.

So officially, I am dropping ARMINDA as my registered name at NSO. Awaiting for the court approval and completion of legal procedures to finally use my "common-used" name ARMIDA JACQUELINE. Need to prove that ARMINDA and ARMIDA JACQUELINE is one and the same person. Hopefullly, this process will be completed by this year.

So..to answer Abie's tag, I'll use JACQUI (hahaha! pasaway pa din?! nickname ginamit!)

J - makes people laugh
A - gorgeous (aww..shucks!)
C - really easy to fall inlone with
Q - a hypocrite (bwahaha! bad noh!)
U - gets blamed for everything (api naman ako nito!)
I - loves to laugh (korek!)

Hahahah..natapos ko din blog post kwento ko :)

Happy Birthday Kuya Ico!

This is my son, Francisco Sebastian Co a.k.a Kuya Ico.

Unknown to many, I have a son born out of wedlock during my wild and folly college days 12 years ago. He is now Grade 6 at Lourdes School of Mandaluyong. He loves anime, playing computer games, loves to read and seriously into dieting now. He's very loving, sweet, caring , quiet, shy but funny older brother to Sam.

I have all praises for my son Ico, he's very open-minded and responsible person. At a very young age, he was able to accept and understand that his situation is quite different from the traditional family set-up he sees around him. He was able to accept that despite his parents no longer together, both can live happy and harmoniously with a family of their own. In spite of having a "weird" set up (he transfers every other month from his dad to my place), he still maintains very good grade and a happy disposition in life. He respects, adapts and adjusts everythime he transfers from one parent to another...be it lifestyle, ways or behavior with no complaints and qualms heard from him.

Tomorrow, January 14th marks his 12th birthday. His dad will pick him up from school for an early birthday dinner treat. And unknown to him, I prepared a surprise late-dinner here at our home inviting my immediate family and Mike's family only. As a surprise gift, I bought him the magnetic treadmill (hopefully it will arrive on time tomorrow!) and a new Nikon digital camera for his new hobby. I just hope he would like these gifts since he never asked for any particular gift or gadgets from me (as always, bait noh!).

So, to my son Ico : Happy, Happy Birthday Kuya! You've grown such a good and sweet boy and I am truly proud and happy what you've become. I may not be the greatest Mom ever, but I am trying to be one for you (and Sam)! I am really sorry that there are things beyond my control, but your happiness is always a priority in every decision I make. Thank you for being a good son and older brother to Sam!
Tito Mike, Sam and I love you so much! Happy Birthday!
