Happy to share that we got our US visa approval too.
Just like what other mommy bloggers shared, getting US Visa is really easy. I think they've been very considerate and lenient especially for family applications.
Interview was short. Less than seven questions asked... and we got our yellow card already. Grabe, it took us longer time to line up than being interviewed by the consul. Hahaha!
Sammie enjoyed her stay at the Pavilion (waiting area) too. She drank chuckie chocolate drink, played with other kids, jumping and running around, doodled with her coloring books and got busy with her stickers.
Oh the best part...we almost lost Elmo. (Yes, Elmo was with us during the interview!) I left him pala on one of the chairs at the interview room. I just realized Elmo was gone after paying for the passport delivery. Gawd?!? So stupid noh! Excited kasi! lol.
So, we went back inside again to look for the red monster. Sam was shouting: "Elmo...Elmo", "where are you, Elmo? ". Good thing the manong guards pala saw our Elmo and kept it agad. Sammie was really happy when Elmo was handed to her. Believe me, she was really, really happy as if they were separated for how many years ni Elmo! Hahaha! Wala siya care sa visa approval nya..si Elmo ang important! Tingin ko nagpa-interview sa consul si Elmo din eh! lol.
So that's it... we got our 10 years, multiple entry visa. Yeheey!! Pwede na sumama sa daddy at Hawaii! (wish... wish...wish!!)
But sad to say... I was not able to apply US visa yet for Kuya Ico. He bears different last name from us kaya I've decided to apply his visa separately to avoid further questioning and explanation. I will apply for Kuya's visa come May 2008. Timely for Mike's invitation at Washington DC for Global Telecom Meet (GTM). Hopefully, everytihng will turn out well din for him.

Wow! Congrats for the US Visa. Sarap ng feeling ano? Kami nun, feeling ko talaga, nanalo ako ng lotto! Exagg pero super important sa amin na makakuha kasi. Very true na lenient sila pag family application, tsaka 10 years multiple binibigay nila. We were just asked the question kung saan kaming state pupunta. I swear, that was the only question, mukhang nakakatakot pa yung nag-interview sa amin pero after that he handed us our yellow slips!

Ako, nag-aabang ng trip ni Dicky sa US (sana meron) next year, at pipilitin ko rin syang sumabit ako/kami. Gagayahin kita, pag di nya ako sinama, kailangan ibili nya ako ng LV! hahaha.
Sana dun tayo mag-pasko next year! Lagot kami nito, super ubos na moolah...pagawa na ng bahay, US trip pa! Sumasakit na ulo ni Dicky regarding this! bwahahaha.

Yup, super elated talaga feeling after getting the yellow slip. Much more happier feeling after opening the courier package kasi multiple entry na-grant. Hahaha!
Not sure yet if we will go to Hawaii this January. I need to confirm Mike's meetings pa and his visit at Japan. But nevertheless, we are tentatively booked with Northwest. Mahal din airfare ha, $1720 adult and $1350 child. Will know by Wednesday siguro.
If di ako sinama Mike, ok lang... Di na ako nagtampo kasi he agreed to buy me stuffs na lang on my list. Though di ko pa nasabi LV bag yun! hahaha!
Sana nga we reach our quota next year. Sobrang pressured kami ngayon. Baba kasi ng forex eh.Wish us luck!

I am so sure Sophia will enjoy Disneyland Florida more. Or if LA side kayo, you can go to Anaheim and Universal Studios.
Kami din we are planning to go back to HK together with Mike's relatives end of Feb or March naman. This time, complete kami with Sam na talaga! I am sure she'll enjoy na Disneyland! :)
Nice sana to go to Hawaii but thinking yun airfare cost namin Sam, pang HK na namin family ng 5 days yun with shopping pa! Syempre nagpaka-practical ako :)
Will let you know by end of this week if tuloy kami or not at Hawaii. Need serious decision-making dito! :)

Like you, need serious consideration with budget. Though we have money now for travel. Sobrang nang-hinayangan ako if we will stay for 5 days only. Parang di worth it to spend $3K for airfare. I might use it for our HK family trip na lang! :)
