blood type tag

Got this very, very interesting tag from Pat of Shopaholic Ties the Knot. Like Pat, I am a type O person. The UNIVERSAL DONOR!! I can say I am loyal, passionate, vain, sometimes jealous and can be competitive at times... pwede na din trend-setter and a little bit self-confident! :)

According to a Japanese institute that does research on blood types, there are certain personality traits that seem to match up with certain blood types.

TYPE O
You want to be a leader, and when you see something you want, you keep striving until you achieve your goal. You are a trend-setter, loyal, passionate, and self-confident. Your weaknesses include vanity and jealousy and a tendency to be too competitive.

TYPE A
You like harmony, peace and organization. You work well with others, and are sensitive, patient and affectionate. Among your weaknesses are stubbornness and an inability to relax.

TYPE B
You're a rugged individualist, who's straightforward and likes to do things your own way. Creative and flexible, you adapt easily to any situation. But your insistence on being independent can sometimes go too far and become a weakness.

TYPE AB
Cool and controlled, you're generally well liked and always put people at ease. You're a natural entertainer who's tactful and fair. But you're standoffish, blunt, and have difficulty making decisions.

What about you Yvette, Vina and Vien? Care to share your blood type personality?

end of futbol funatics summer camp

Last Sunday was Sam's last football game. It was their farewell party and it saddens me that she'll miss the game, her classmates and her teacher, coach abbey. She enjoyed this outdoor game so much! As a matter of fact, she always looks forward to weekends because of football ...well, not sure if the football she'll miss or the post-football treat at Mc Do! lol.

But overall, was truly happy (and satisfied) that I enrolled Sam on this summer camp. Really worth it for it enhanced her social and listening skills, she gained new friends, she became independent and confident, outgoing, active and strong. Yes, she knows how to kick hard now!! Will definitely be back for the regular season this coming July!

Check out their last football session pictures below...

in my pantry ...

Just received our mid-year bonus last week, and I must say the moolah was carefully well-spent. Aside from paying Ico's tution fee and paying the downpayment for the memorial lot at Heritage, part of my bonus was spent shopping! Nope, not luxury items shopping but ... Splurged a little for grocery items!! Bought some items not found on my usual monthly grocery list. I so want to fill my pantry with these items which I find quite expensive and really not a neccessity, but I've decided to splurge this time.

My splurge grocery lists includes:

a. Mc Cormick bottled spices : chili powder, garlic powder, italian seasoning, thyme, rosemary, basil, oregano, white pepper and tarragon.
b. San Remo pasta : 500 grams of penne and fettucini
c. EVOO or extra virgin olive oil
d. Kraft parmesan cheese
e. Balsamic Vinegar
f. bottled pesto sauce
g. maraschino cherries --- hubby's request!
h. canned tomatoes
i. bottled olives

I was giddy happy when I got the items above. It is a one time, big time splurge for my pantry and I must say...they really look good inside my pantry. It's a well-stocked pantry, enough to whip up a la minute pasta in the middle of the night. I wanted to do this for the longest time but I often de-prioritized buying it. For some reason, I always tend to forget! Blame it on being a working mom! Hahaha! But seriously, I find joy having a well-stocked pantry. Seeing that I have the basic Italian/Mediterranean ingredients in my cabinet now, I feel so happy and rich! Parang ang yaman-yaman ko! lol!! Yeah I know ...it's a cheap way of feeling rich! hehehe! Anyway, feeling lang naman...sana maging tutuo! Hahaha!

concord watch

How time flies so fast!! Mother’s day was just celebrated few days ago…and we are now on our way to prepare for Father’s Day celebration this coming 3rd Sunday of June. Oh I just can’t wait to shop for my loving and sweet hubby! :)

Since he does a lot of traveling lately, I am thinking of getting him a new set of black Samsonite luggage for his business trips. I saw this practical and useful gift at Tungchung outlet in Hongkong and the tag price was really amazing! Big discount offered for Samsonite luggage set at almost 30-40% off from the original price offered at the commercial establishments. Great savings, huh!

Or better yet, since hubby loves to collect watch, buying him a concord watch will be the best bet to add up in his collection. Hubby needs a sports watch for his weekend basketball with the boys, and the Concord C1 chronograph watch with rubber straps and stainless steel bracelet will be ideal for him.
But then, hubby needs a new mobile phone too! He's thinking of retiring his old, bulky and totally worn out Nokia communicator anytime soon!
Hmmmm…so many choices, but limited budget!! But one thing for sure, need to check out these gift items asap before it’s too late! :)
