trade show booths

One of my foreign partners, Tata Communications called early today requesting for possible event with our company by next month. Since they’ve recently changed their company name from VSNL International to Tata Communications, it is a must and appropriate to re-launch the new company for the corporate market’s awareness.

Because of this, we’ve been thinking of setting up an event probably provide a one-day symposium that will re-launch their company brand name, products and new management. No confirmed theme yet but it will definitely require big publicity work like a trade show booths. Complete with all the works such as banner stands at the entire venue, use of eye-catching booths with pipe and drape as well as strategic reception tables adorned with the company’s logo for table skirts. Just like the Camelback Displays Inc. A professional one-stop trade show company experienced in catering large exhibits set up from design details, conceptualizing to delivery. The company even offers more than the exhibit set up, but can even extend its services to stage and lighting trade show requirements, use of graphic tents for outdoor events, brochure holders for product catalogues and presentation tools and crowd control. Really a one-stop shop to cater our company event next month. Definitely a must check site for our upcoming event with our FA-client.

blogging from medical city.

So this is me a day after my surgery. Kinda pasaway pa din. Still blogging, checking out online stuff available on the web (mostly on sale due to 4th of July holiday), learning twitter, chatting and sending YM messages to my friends..and yes, really bored and can't stop web surfing!

My doctor caught me online yesterday and asked me to stop working!! No stressful activity for me! --- working daw?! lol. Nope, doc! more of shopping siguro! my stress-reliever! hahaha!

Anyway, I heart my surgeon so much. He's really good. Very accommodating and always checks on me. He usually do his rounds twice a day, morning and afternoon to check my progress regularly. He also ensures I am ok and in no pain. He even tried to follow my request of "no visible marks for the incision please!" and made sure the marks hidden through my usual neck creases. I was told by one of the resident doctors they had a difficult time removing the cyst since the incision was quite far from my actual lump. Ang vain ng pasyente kasi!! lol. But really thankful he obliged to my request.

So my heartfelt thanks to my surgeon, Dr. Michael Edmond Dazo and the rest of the surgery team. Thank you also to Dr. Erik Pascual (cardio) and Dr. Coz (anaesthesiologist). Thank you for the safe and successful operation. :)

hubby's life insurance

Hubby’s life insurance payment is due next week. Since I am stuck here in the hospital, need to find ways how I can settle his quarterly dues to avoid penalty. I don’t want to be a delinquent member since I know how important this obligation to secure our future.

I’ve heard some sad news from my friends and relatives how frightening having no insurance these days. Aside from losing loved ones, the family is left with debts to settle hospitalization and burial expenses, making it more difficult for the family to move on. Thus, it is very important to consider getting term life insurance to protect and prepare the family in case of emergency.

I’ve found good life insurance options on the web. There are options of buying term life policy online without the need for medical exam. Initial life insurance quotes can be computed by encoding the individual’s desired length term, coverage and mode of payment. As easy as 1-2-3, life insurance quotes already available for consideration.

AWK Tag No. 1

Our dear friend Aggie started this weekly fun tag.

Topic No. 1: Life After the Wedding - the Married Life.
What are the things you want them to know about life after the wedding?
Just like Aggie said, It's no bed of roses nor a fairytale ending with no "and they live happily ever after ..." ending. The couples must work together, learn to accept each other, warts and all ... and compromise!!
If there is one thing I learned from my husband, the word compromise works for us! (though sometimes I do get my own way! lol.) It does't mean giving-in easily but you find ways to meet half-way and agree on something.
Like I've said to my blogger friends before, I guess it helps that my hubby is the level-headed one, the more "mature" person in our relationship. Despite all my complaints and yaking on about anything, he lets me see everything in different perspective ... not just my "own" selfish perpsective. O di ba, tina-tyaga nya i-explain lahat sa akin! :) Which makes me appreciate and understands everything better.
Secondly, HUMILITY. Yes, you and your hubby fight or argue sometimes but that doesn't mean it is the end of the world for both of you. After the heated fight, I always notice with some couple "pride" steps-in. Making it hard to talk, listen and forgive. Recognize that you've hurt each others feeling when fighting by throwing hateful words. But after the fight, one must be humble to apologize or say sorry. It doesn't mean saying sorry the other person is right...but sorry that you said those hateful words. ( I am lucky that hubby always take the initiative to start talking and saying sorry after an argument. If not, super pride ako... baka lagi na kami wala na-resolve every away! hehehe!)

missing my client ...

Got sad news from one of my good clients today she informed me that she will be migrating to the US anytime next month. She’s been looking forward to their family petition papers for months now and this is welcome news to her.

Initially she plans to stay in New Jersey together with her family, but later on she’s thinking of moving to Philadelphia to start life of her own. Though unsure yet with her future here, but as early as now she’s starting to check out Philadelphia jobs available for her. Hopefully she can start her business career once she's settled in Philly. I'll definitely miss my client once she leaves for US. She's one of the sweetest, and thoughtful clients in the telecoms industry. But I am sure she'll be happy since she'll be finally reunited with her family. Goodluck ,girl! Wishing you all the best!

medical treatment

Getting sick is no big deal. With the expensive medicine and hospital expenses, option for surgery is not the usual consideration of individuals.

Like in my case, I was recently diagnosed with a benign thryo-glossal duct cyst and I need to schedule for immediate surgery for cyst removal before it grows. Good thing I have my medicare supplement from our company to cover my hospitalization expenses. Otherwise, with the costly hospital bills, I would probably think twice before considering immediate removal of the cyst.
