RL shopping again

I love online shopping ... I can browse and shop in my comforts of my home. And just last Friday, went crazy buying shirts for the little tot from Ralph Lauren. It's unbelievably on sale with almost 70% off mark down. Of course, the budget conscious in me can't resist the magic word SALE! Who wouldn't? Thus, I bought shirts 2x bigger than his present size now. At 9 mos now, I already bought shirts good for 24 months. Hahaha! Yes, my little boy is a biggie boy. And in no time, he will be able to wear these shirts. Check out my loots below ...

US Big Pony Polo (Red and White)

RL Multi-stripe Cotton Polo Shirts : orange, royal blue and yellow

RL Gellar Khaki shorts

Do hurry, sale items will not last long.

Migo's baptism invites

Got the baptism invites of Migo! Really cutie, eh? Got this from my new supplier and I am happy with the layout. My little squirt looks more a baby this time and not a biggie about to have his first birthday. LOL.

I am happy with my new supplier, cute prints. Totally accommodating, fast, efficient and reliable. I was able to get my lay out in less than 24 hours, approved it and on it's way to the printer as I type this blog. Hahaha, really fast. The artist did a great job, don't you think so? I wonder if she got home budget software online for this invite. I was told it is much better compared to other websites for software applications.

Anyway, please see attached draft invites below.

Finally set.

It's finally set ... Miguel's baptism will proceed as planned for February 6. So after all the travel brouhaha issue we had in our office due to our sales incentive trip, the Phuket trip was cancelled and moved to a later date. It means I am back again party planning and finalzing all my contracts with my suppliers. Also, it means that I need to trim down my excess preggy weight in three weeks time. Hah, wish that would be easy. Luckily, I was told by my best friend she chanced upon an effective new weight loss product that may answer my immediate requirement. Looks promising, though. Let's see if it really works.

migo's baptism schedule

So far everything ready for the upcoming baptism of my son, Migo. Venue booked at Sanctuario de San Antonio, caterers, food cards, tokens and party suppliers settled, and invites ready for printing. Everything ready and just waiting for the big day ... and that was as of January 13.

However, with a twist of fate, the baptism need to be re-scheduled. I received a call from my boss that the sales incentive trip will be moved to February 5-7, exactly same weekend date of migo's supposed baptism sked. Really bad. I am trying to figure out for days how to move the baptism date without sacrificing the husband's schedule as well. You see, he has several foreign trips slotted for the month of February, and I need to find one Saturday to hold Migo's baptism. So far ... no luck yet. Conflicting dates with the husband's trip and even with our family affairs. I am sooo stressed with these scheduling problems! In fact, having acne breakouts already and I need to find treatment for acne soon. Wish me luck. Not only to get successful baptism date, but on overcoming my acne breakouts as well.

Migo's First Out of Town Trip

Last Sunday, we went for a short trip to Tagaytay Highlands. It was an impromptu trip, as always. We just decided the night before that we want to bring out Baby Miguel and have breakfast at Antonio's. And since it was Baby Migo's first out of town trip, naturally we want to capture all his firsts via our new Sony digital camera. LOL. Check out how we enjoyed the sun and cold weather of Tagaytay below.

on my 34th week

Before I pursue with my aunt's request for research materials on spine surgery Mexico, just an update on my present preggy state.
I am on my 34th week now, so far ... doing ok with my pregnancy. The pelvic ultrasound yesterday showed that the baby is doing well too. Baby size normal for his gestational age. No abnormalities seen. Placenta still high, and baby's position no longer in breech position but moved to cephalic position. Getting ready to move out! LOL. But seriously, hopefully Baby Miguel will stay the same position until I give birth few weeks from now. Of course I would prefer to give birth by normal delivery, much easier for me and cheaper too! Hahaha! Wish me luck.

surprise baby shower

Just had my surprise baby shower last weekend. Yes, it was really a surprise one organized and given by our beloved Ate Glo who was home from Indiana US for a few days. It was actually her despedida dinner cum surprise baby shower and boy ... was I really surprised! You see, the husband brought me out for dinner that night to indulge me to my Japanese food craving. Together with some friends, he brought me to a fine dining Japanese restaurant at The Fort, Toki restaurant for a night of sushi, sashimi and of course, wagyu steak!! I ate so much that night, pigging out to my heart's delight on wagyu beef. Not knowing surprise party awaits me at home, I even requested for scoops of green tea mint ice cream to cap the night. Very bad! LOL.
Anyway, after eating so much, hubby and I went home a little past nine. I was surpised to see the lights at our garage were on and hubby's family patiently waiting for me. As soon as I entered the gate, they all greeted me with gifts. Oh, it was my surprise baby shower that night. Hahaha! And I felt bad that I can't eat all the food they brought. I was so full from dinner.

Happily, I opened the gifts they brought for my baby. Baby Miguel received set of blue onesies from Ate Glo, pair of PJs, receiving blankets, door hanger, bib and a toy. Though I have almost all baby stuffs (all hand me downs from Ate Samantha), I still wish to receive steam cleaner as a gift.. This will make my ironing easy especially when the new baby arrives. The delicate cotton material of the baby dress would require extreme care, and the steam cleaner will be a perfect household gadget. Let's see. I still have couple of baby shower to come and I hope my friends will heed my plea. :)
To hubby's family: Ate Glo, Gen, my MIL, SIL, BILs, cousins, tito and tita's ... thank you so much for the baby shower! Truly appreciate the gesture and love for me and baby miguel.

Well ...few more months more, and Daddy will be happy to see his champ. :)
