wish list

For days now, I've been thinking of things I want to give myself this Christmas. And since I received a hefty bonus from my company for a job well done the previous year, I am thinking of rewarding myslef with a luxury item that will remind me of my contribution to the company. I've listed some "nice" items in my wish list:
1. bag - yes, another bag. this time, the oh-so nice mulberry alexa in oak color, oversized. (but not a priority!)
2. new watch - thinking of getting myself junior size men's watch (like omega seamaster, perhaps?)
3. new home theater/LCD for our bedroom -- our old one broke weeks ago.
4. nice "key" pendant from tiffany and co. -- beautifully wrapped in a small blue box ... i love how dainty it looks!
5. an iPAD ... I heart to own one! Not yet a Mac converter but praying to be one ..soon!
6. or if I have extra budget, probably get the husband and myself new promise rings in white gold with little diamonds around like an eternity ring. Perfect, don't you think so?

Wish I can afford all ...in fact, I think I need to ask the husband to pitch to help me achieve one of the items above. Hahaha! Anyway, wish me luck I'll get at least one of my wishlist this Christmas. =)

another LC dream ...

The husband thinks we are ready for our new dream car. Yes, after enjoying our three year old SUV so much, time to get something bigger and with more space. An upgrade ... from our present Toyota Fortuner to Toyota Land Cruiser (LC). Sturdy and mean looking ... and the husband loves the super pogi points. What do you think? Any reviews about this car?

miller thong

Ooopppss... I did it again. That is buying online. Hah, blame it on Labor Day Sale! I am again hooked and mesmerized with this Tory Burch miller thong sandals. And the boring in me would only choose of course, the safest color ever -- black! Yes, I am in shopping spree again for anything black or black and gold combination. Don't know why but I think it will be a black and gold Christmas treats for me. Hahaha!

Hooked on G bags

Yes, I am crazy with Goyard bags lately. So crazy, that I can't get enough of it! LOL I simply adore their fab and eye-catchy colors which I believe a big hit to baghags lately. I just got my black/tan St. Louis GM last month, and now I am torn if I'll get yellow, white or pink. Hmmm... the yellow so fab and stunning with any plain outfits, white looks hot, hot, hot for summer while the pink ... oh, a limited edition color of Goyard. Really torn.

And before I go bag crazy on these colors, need to check out available doorbells online. Our old doorbell now busted after two years, and the husband insists on getting a replacement asap. Wish me luck, I sure hope I can find a replacement before we leave by end of the month.

travel bag

I think 2010 will be the year of travel for the family. We have so many travel plans ahead of us, not only because of our work, but family travel as well. And since we will be travelling a lot this year (both domestic and foreign trips), I can't help but wish to get myself a perfect travel companion. For months now, I've been eyeing these particular Louis Vuitton travel mates:

1. Keepall 50 with Strap : Perfect hand-carry luggage for our trips. Easy and practical use especially if you travel light. The size simply perfect for the overhead luggage bin.

2. Bloomsbury PM : Another fashionable bag for everyday use. Very practical especially if you are travelling and always on the go. Leaves your hands free while shopping or holding a baby. Very true. Hahaha!
Obviously, I love damier print, don't you agree. If ever, these bags will be part of my growing mini damier collection. Anyway, no definite plans to buy yet ... haven't talked to the husband on the budget for my new LV bag. He will be leaving for Hawaii on Sunday evening and I need to decide which one ... fast. :)

Japan travel treat

To celebrate our upcoming 6th-year anniversay this February, the husband finally said yes to my pleas ... a trip to Tokyo, Japan! Wooohooo! Finally, he agreed to grant one of my dream travel destination. Though our target trip will not coincide with our anniversary date this time, but it will still be perfect in time for the Cherry Blossom Festival. We shall be in Tokyo for five days, from March 26-March 30.
Of course our travel itinerary will include Disneysea and Sanrio Puroland as must see destinations as well as the Asuka temples. Dine in and experience authentic Japanese food from hand-rolled maki's, sushi and yakisoba galore! A trip to Tsukiji market and enjoy the beautiful Cherry Blossom Festival. So many things to do with so little time! And I hope I can squeeze everything with a little time for shopping since I need to get anti aging face face creams too. Oh, just can't wait! But before anything else, need to complete my Japanese visa requirements. Wish me luck that no hitches on my visa application. :)

Perfect Match

Been waiting for quite some time now for the Balenciaga Spring/Summer Collection 2010. And when it finally arrived at Greenbelt 5, of course together with my bagaholic shopping buddy, Jody we wasted no time to check out the newly-released colors of Balenciaga.

And since I've been wanting for the perfect red shade of Balenciaga bag for months now, finally ... my prayers were answered. The Sang color. Bright red and not the maroonish or dull-red type of shade. So happy. Finally, I've found the perfect shade for me. Now the waiting starts ... hehehe!
My choice : Balenciaga Day Bag with Silver Giant Hardware

busy week ahead

I've been very busy lately with work, summer outings and social gatherings that I forgot to do some urgent household errands for the family.

Things to do this week :

1. grocery shopping : I just found out this morning that we ran out of household supplies like detergent and laundry soap, paper towels and kitchen essentials. Missed doing my bi-monthly grocery trip. Very bad wifey! Hehehe!
2. decide if will pursue family travel to Hongkong by June. With all the H1N1 swine flu scare, need to be prepared. 3. confirm hotel reservations : Marriot Hotel or Hotel Nikko HK.
4. bank chores : transfer funds, complete payment, request for bank certification.

5. confirm flight bookings of my aunt based in LA. Check out Stratosphere hotel or other best casino hotel for my aunt who will be staying in Vegas for three days.
6. finalize amazon order for Avent sterilizer. Need to have it shipped asap.

7. check out Johnny Air cargo freight charges for amazon bought items.
8. follow up my travel approval request for Singapore : June 15-18
9. if Singapore travel papers approved by management, check out Amara or M Hotel at Shenton Way, SNG.
10. request for Certificate of Employment from HR.
11. finalize house re-painting plans. short-list contractors to do the job.
12. check out current market price of my Honda car ... thinking of upgrading the unit by June as a birthday gift from the husband.

I hope (and pray) that I'll be able to complete all the tasks listed above. Wish me luck!

Welcome 2009!

Another year ... another beginning.

I have so many things on my mind now, so many plans and dreams for 2009 and I don't know where to start. Got big dreams, big plans for the family and I am hoping this will all materialize this year. HOPE is the word. After all, new year brings new hopes and dreams.

Last night, I am thinking of drafting/posting my new year's resolutions. But again, why bother. I am a no good sticking to my resolutions anyway. Sadly, everytime I draft my resolutions at the start of the year, I always end up forgetting, cheating, or not accomplishing anything at all. This makes it even worst.

This year... I vowed it would be different. (hah, is this another attempt for resolution?) I'll just make it simpler this time for me. No more attempts about my diet, being organized or living frugally. Hehehe! Di naman nangyayari eh! lol.

Thus for 2009, I'll just ENJOY LIFE as it is. NO to pressure or imposing pressure on myself. I'll try to live a relaxing and stress-free life. No more OC me. No more worrying too much. Time to take it slow and see the beauty of life. Think this is enough for me to start the year ... and to begin with Baby No.3 :)

in my pantry ...

Just received our mid-year bonus last week, and I must say the moolah was carefully well-spent. Aside from paying Ico's tution fee and paying the downpayment for the memorial lot at Heritage, part of my bonus was spent shopping! Nope, not luxury items shopping but ... Splurged a little for grocery items!! Bought some items not found on my usual monthly grocery list. I so want to fill my pantry with these items which I find quite expensive and really not a neccessity, but I've decided to splurge this time.

My splurge grocery lists includes:

a. Mc Cormick bottled spices : chili powder, garlic powder, italian seasoning, thyme, rosemary, basil, oregano, white pepper and tarragon.
b. San Remo pasta : 500 grams of penne and fettucini
c. EVOO or extra virgin olive oil
d. Kraft parmesan cheese
e. Balsamic Vinegar
f. bottled pesto sauce
g. maraschino cherries --- hubby's request!
h. canned tomatoes
i. bottled olives

I was giddy happy when I got the items above. It is a one time, big time splurge for my pantry and I must say...they really look good inside my pantry. It's a well-stocked pantry, enough to whip up a la minute pasta in the middle of the night. I wanted to do this for the longest time but I often de-prioritized buying it. For some reason, I always tend to forget! Blame it on being a working mom! Hahaha! But seriously, I find joy having a well-stocked pantry. Seeing that I have the basic Italian/Mediterranean ingredients in my cabinet now, I feel so happy and rich! Parang ang yaman-yaman ko! lol!! Yeah I know ...it's a cheap way of feeling rich! hehehe! Anyway, feeling lang naman...sana maging tutuo! Hahaha!

Wish list: LV Galliera PM

Just saw the new LV Monogram Canvas LV Galliera PM. Real nice and eye-candy, right?

I know, I know...I promised I won't be buying any designer bags for the next monthssss ... BUT, aargghh... really, really tempting!!

Look at the bag-design, hobo-type with shiny LV plate and adjustable strap. So girly and pretty!! I just wish the Galliera PM looks good in person than the website picture.
But the price, haayy... way beyond my budget!!

Oh well, need to do a quick trip to LV Greenbelt this weekend for a bag fitting ... that is, if the bag is already available here in Manila.

Haay...wish, wish, wish! :)

Birthday gift choices for hubby

My ever-patient, loving, generous and sweet hubby (Mike) is turning 33 this coming Monday, February 4.

Until now, I haven't decided yet what to give him as birthday present. For weeks now, I've been toying with the idea of buying him a new mobile phone. An Apple iPhone to replace his old Nokia communicator. You see, he carries two Nokia communicator phones everyday. One for his personal and the other unit, for business use. Lately, I want him to change his original and jurassic version, N9300. Aside from its bulky size, the outside cover looks old and battered. Kinda embarassing if he use it during business meetings... though according to hubby, this is his lucky phone since most of his business transactions were consumated here!

Anyway, any feedback on iPhone? How about compatibility with our current GSM network? Any idea how much an iPhone costs in Greenhills? I have a reliable company vendor that sells iPhone at P23K, is this acceptable?

My second option is to treat my honey on our upcoming vacation/anniversary at HK/Macau. Treat as in hotel accomodation and airfare ako taya!?! Waahhh... though I don't mind giving this as a gift. Mas tipid ito, but want to give him something tangible sana! Hahaha! Bahala na...But looking forward to our Macau anniversary destination. Can't wait to check out these great Macau spots...

Goodness...February is my most expensive month of the year. Hubby's birthday, Valentine's Day and Anniversary. Need all possible moolah-resources for this month. And I seriously hope my blogging raket can help me. lol! :)

Meet my new babies ...

Sorry but I really have to post this great news...Ngayon pa lang kasi Christmas ko eh! Please bear with me.

Since most of you were involved on my LV dilemma one way or another, I am happy to share... finally, my LV bags already here. As in here in Manila and inside ou bedroom! Woohoohooo!

I can't believe it.. the husband is so so thoughtful to bring home everything...as in everything! He brought home the LV boxes, ribbons, cloth bags and even LV paper bags! Hahaha! He was so concerned that I might not be able to sell it if the packaging isn't complete. And surprsingly, he was able to fit all of these inside his luggage. Of course, flattened and folded neatly. Grabe, maasahan ka talaga, hubby! :)

LV packaging...boxes and paper bags

the package

Meet my new babies ... Neverfull MM and Speedy 30 Damier

Anyway, really, really happy...when he arrived early this morning. He woke me up, kissed me then handed me his "pasalubong" agad. Aaayyy..sarap gumising seeing hubby after one week! Uber-elated feeling just hugging him! Truly missed him!

Hopefully, this is my last post re: LV bags....eerrrr for the meantime. Hahaha!

I am gonna keep my babies ...

Gucci bags ... NO MORE.

I've finally made up my mind. Yes, finally I have decided.

After my super quick detour at Gucci Greenbelt earlier, and checked the bag options I posted yesterday...the Gucci bags not that appealing anymore. Website pictures really looked great. BUT, once you've tried them on hmmm... something's "bitin" or not right.

The "jolicoaur" (with red and green stripe) I wanted was quite big...and the smaller size, too small for me! The shoulder strap somehow "bitin" for my arms. On the other hand, "princy" large shoulder strap just perfect, the length of the bag too long naman for me. Tried on the "princy" small, but it lacks enough space for my things. I tried looking other Gucci bag options but most of them, beyond my budget already.

Hence, I've decided .... I AM GONNA KEEP MY BABIES! ----that's my LV Neverfull MM and Speedy 30 Damier.

I called my husband immediately to beat the 24-hour decision window. I told him NOT to buy the bags anymore. He was glad I've decided not to get it. According to him, its not that nice anyway! Hahaha...trying to make me feel better pa.

Well, there's always next time...in HK perhaps. Hahaha!

So..I am sorry my dear blogmates. Ginulo ko pa kayo with my post... ako din, nagulo eh! Hahaha! :)

Thank you for reading all my bag "indecisiveness" .

ps: excerpt from husband's last call at 530 pm.

mike: So, I wont get the bag na ha..final na yan. This is my last night here.
jacqui: Yes honey. I am happy with the LVs. Thank you.
mike: Ok. So what will I buy pa for you? Anything you like?
jacqui: (hmmmm..napa-isip bigla.. wallet na lang kaya?!) No na honey, I am ok. Buy something for yourself.
mike: No na.. I am ok. I don't like to shop here.
jacqui: oh, dont forget to get me the hawaiian host macademia nuts. And lots of Meiji chocolate from Japan.
mike: surely!
Hahaha.. bait ng asawa ko noh?! Sarap magpa-bili lagi sa kanya when he travels. One of my thousand reasons why I really, really love him so much... Can't wait to see him home!

Gucci bag dilemma ... and on being indecisive!

Two days ago, I was so so so happy (well, until now) that the husband got the bags I wanted at a LV Store in Hawaii. The bags I've been looking (and eyeing) for several months from different shopping sources ie: online shopping, e-luxury, LV HK and SNG already found and bought by my sweet husband.

Then I received an unexpected call from my husband this afternoon ... He asked me if I still want the Gucci bags on my list. (Remember I gave him bag options list before he left! I swear..madami options yun!lol.) He went to Gucci store and found out that the bags I want also available. He asked me if I still want a Gucci bag...and if I still want it, let him know before he leaves on Thursday. BUT..He will reimburse this Gucci bag daw sa akin!

Now I am in dilemma ... I want the Gucci bag too! But, I have two LVs na. Sobrang "abuso" and "kahiya" if I ask the husband to buy it for me. And most importantly, I don't want to pay for another bag! Hahaha!

I might be getting this GUCCI "jolicoeur" -- medium tote with red and green stripe
OR this GUCCI "princy" : medium tote with tab snap. Pardon the picture but the one hubby will get yun ALL BROWN-COLORED HANDLES AND EDGES..just can't find online bag pix in brown. Kainis! Mahirap din hanapin ito eh :(

Hence, I am thinking of selling the LV Neverfull MM bag na lang ...YES, I AM SELLING THE NEVERFULL MM so I can get my Gucci bag! Very indecisive noh! BUT, Before I say yes to my dear husband, need to know....
Anyone interested on this LV bag? I am selling it P30K .. pag mommy bloggers may discount pa! Bag will arrive on Friday am. :)

Finally ... he got my LV bags!

Finally..my LV Speedy 30 Damier Canvas quest is over.

True to his word, hubby went to LV store in Hawaii right after checking-in at the hotel. He just placed his bags and took a quick shower, then went straight to LV Hilton Village store to get my bilins.

I am so very happy. He got not only one ... but two LV bags! Wooohoooho! He got my LV Neverfull MM too! Hahaha! Sarap magpa-bili kay hubby!! I gave him the list options, just in case he can't find the Speedy 30. But instead, he got the two bags na. He knows I've been looking endlessly for the other style too. Thus, rather than have a hard time looking for the Neverfull MM style daw, he bought it na din. Bwahahaha!

The good news, sales tax in Hawaii is cheaper compared to other US State. He just paid 4% tax each for the bag! Wohohohoo! Savings na! Then yun forex conversion now $1 = P41. Hahaha! Saya-saya talaga!

So I got my Christmas gift... and Anniversary gift na! ( este...under negotiation pa namin ito extra LV bag..nilalambing ko pa as Anniversary gift! konti na lang , ok na ito!Hehehe!)

Really worth the wait... and I think bumawi kasi naiwan ako ngayon! lol.

Thank you Honey, you are so so sweet! You really made me so so happy! Mwaaahh! :)

2008 Projects

Holiday is over. It officially ended today with the Feast of Three Kings.

It heralded the end of the season’s frenzy and back to work (and reality) tomorrow. And for me, it officially starts 2008 sales budget for the team. Hopefully it would be a better year for us this year…more sales to cover the fluctuating forex conversion from our sales quota. Sadly, with the start of the year, we already need to do a lot of catching up with our numbers. Oh well, I really hope and pray it will be a better year for us. More sales thus, more sales incentive (commissions)! More incentives equals to more shopping money for me! Hahaha!

Seriously, I’ve decided to cut-down on my shopping spree this year. My mantra for 2008…BE PRACTICAL and DO SENSIBLE SHOPPING ONLY! Hubby and I talked last week regarding our goals and “projects” for 2008. And these projects would really mean cutting down on unnecessary expenses (read: NO expensive toys, clothes, jewelry, watch, appliance, bags and parties - - ngek, parang ako lang affected dito?!lol.)

I shall be listing our “projects” for 2008 to remind me of all the shopping moments I have to forego to achieve these goals. lol! ( so please, help me God :p)

1.Purchase the lot beside our house...with a bit of luck find the present owner by 1st quarter.
2.Purchase additional family car for us. (Target by EO March 2008)
3.Travel for the entire family this coming summer.
4.If still financially possible, purchase additional property (lot) as investment.

The “projects” shared above would mean working our asses off very hard this year though possibly be financially draining on us. Hopefully, with God’s blessings will be able to pull these off by December 2008. Wish us luck!

*btw, my Christmas present LV bag NOT counted yet for the cost-cutting measures for 2008. That is still part of 2007 budget noh! Hahaha! (may escape clause agad! lol.)

An ironic twist on my LV Speedy 30 Damier hunt ...

I just posted the other day my frustrations on getting the LV Speedy 30 damier canvas bag from LV HK, LV Manila and LV US online.

Surpsingly, this specific bag is out of stock and unsure yet when will it be available. Grrrr... just when I want to buy this bag for Christmas! Parang lahat ata nag-shop ng LV Speedy 30 bag! hahaha!

Then I received a call at exactly 2:20pm from LV Greenbelt today. The sales associate informed me that the LV NEVERFULL MM bag already arrived and reserved under my name until Sunday, December 30. My Gawd?!! yun bag na ayaw ko na hanapin and I accepted that NEVERNA yun Neverfull saka biglang siya dumating?! Very ironic noh?! Just when I am really keen on getting Speedy 30 damier as my holiday gift, saka eto sya....oh tukso..layuan mo ako please!!!

Kakainis!?!! Now I am having second thoughts if I should get Neverfull and the Speedy 30 pa ngayon. Eh happy na ako with my Batignolles Vertical that replaced my Neverfull desire last October.

Now I am torn... hay naku, really ironic.... very, very ironic! I want the Speedy 30 Damier..as in! But my original love was Neverfull! Eh ang hirap din hanapin ng bag na ito... Bakit..Bakit?!!

Talagang I am cursed ata whenever I am decided on buying a Louis Vuitton bag.... Haay! Bakit..Bakit ka ganyan?!?! (hahaha! nalokah na!)
